Here’s a flower for your hair,
Tied to a pair of the shiniest ribbons I could find.
Let’s put them on.
Ah, you look just like the day I first met you –
Six years old and full of glee
I asked if you would marry me.
It’s been twenty years since,
And darling, I’d like to ask again.
