The first month of the year is behind us, and February arrives with a quiet kind of magic. If January felt overwhelming or didn’t go quite as planned, that’s okay—February is here to remind us that progress can start at any time. If you’ve been feeling like setting new goals, I’m here to tell you that this is the perfect time for a fresh start.
Here’s how I’m approaching goal-setting this month:
- Small Steps, Big Impact 🏗️ – Progress is made in daily habits. Choose consistency over intensity.
- Clarifying Priorities 🧭 – What truly matters? Instead of chasing every goal, focus on the ones that align with your values and long-term vision.
- Allowing Flexibility 🌊 – Life happens, and some days won’t be as productive. That’s absolutely okay! You are not a machine and you deserve love and rest. Give yourself the grace to adapt your plans as needed.
My February Goals
This month, I recommend you focus on three key areas:
1. Personal Growth 🌟:
- 📖 Read a book (any book! any length! with pictures or without. Honestly anything that brings joy).
- 🧘 Practice mindfulness for 10 minutes every day. (Sit in the sun and have a little picnic!)
- 🥗 Prioritize physical health by taking rest and doing light exercise everyday.
2. Professional Development 💼:
- 💡 Work on a personal project that excites you. (Like baking? Get out the mittens.)
- 🤝 Network with at least two people in your industry. (Give it a try. If it feels daunting read this – The Littler Dreams )
- 📚 Improve skills through an online course or self-study.
3. Creativity & Passion 🎨:
- ✍️ Do something you love everyday. It could be anything, even watching your favourite TV show.
- 📢 Share something you create with people you love – fresh greens from your garden, a cake you baked, or a blog post you wrote! It could be anything you are proud of.

February Affirmations
Affirmations are a powerful way to set the tone for the month. Here are a few to get you started:
